PAGASA warns Zamboanga Peninsula of floods, landslides as Typhoon Caloy strengthens

State weather bureau PAGASA warned northern and western part of Luzon and Visayas including Zamboanga Peninsula to be on alert for floods and landslides, as Typhoon Caloy hits the Philippines on Tuesday night, June 28.

In a 24-hour publick weather forecast issued at 4:00 PM, 29 June 2022, the center of Tropical Depression "Caloy" was estimated based on all available data at 390 km West of Iba, Zambales (15.9°N, 116.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 55 km/h. It is moving North Northwestward slowly.
